Luxury vinyl plank and tile
Luxury vinyl plank, or LVP, is the floor to reach for when water is part of the job. Kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, entries, and anywhere a dog comes in wet.
It is softer and quieter underfoot than hybrid or laminate, which is one reason it turns up so often in aged care, medical fit outs and commercial spaces as well as family homes.
Vinyl shows every bump in the subfloor, so preparation matters more here than almost anywhere else. That is part of what we do, not an extra you find out about later.

What is the difference between vinyl plank and hybrid?
Both are waterproof. Hybrid has a rigid core so it bridges small subfloor imperfections and feels firmer underfoot. Vinyl plank is more flexible and softer, and needs a flatter subfloor. Different jobs suit different products.
Can vinyl plank go in a bathroom?
Yes, that is one of the things it does best. It needs the right preparation and edge detailing to do the job properly.
